Door closers are"programmable" - in this case this does not refer to software needing to have code rewritten, but adjustments that can be made to the cycle of operations of a door closer.
Hager Companies has created a very helpful installation video that really details all the technical aspects of adjusting a door closer. These are the videos that installers can watch if there is every any question on a job site, but they can be informative to the average reader, and could be very helpful someday!
